WIildcat 91.9 Chief Operator Ian Punnett inducted into KAB Hall of Fame

Updated: Jun 14

The Kansas Association of Broadcasters honored Dr. Punnett aka this past week at the KAB Hall of Fame Dinner. Over the past 6 years Ian has helped lead Wildcat 91.9 to hundreds of student KAB awards, bring dozens of new students into the broadcasting program and led the charge towards the station winning it's first Intercollegiate Broadcasting System "Best Station in the Nation" award.

The time and dedication that Ian has put into Wildcat 91.9 has set a standard of radio excellence here at Kansas State University. His induction into the KAB Hall of Fame and being honored with the Distinguished Service Award might have come as a surprise to him but the students he has mentored were not shocked whatsoever. Ian has embodied the characteristics of a leader who has not only influenced thousands around the world on the radio waves but also at the best college radio station in that nation.

Thank you Ian for all that you have done for us and congrats on your distinguished service award and induction into the Hall of Fame for the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.
