SGA Weekly Update: Jones and Epard Talk Future of SGA & Student Involvement

On this episose of the SGA Weekly Update, host Jimmy Coffman welcomed freshmen senators Isabel Jones and Dax Eppard to studio D to talk committees and next semester's plans for the senate.
Jones chairs the Tuition Enhancements Committee, which allocates student funds for scholarships and projects like VR headsets and accessible bathrooms. She stressed its flexibility for any idea.
Eppard leads the Strategic Oversight Committee, advancing campus life through better parking, affordable applied learning experiences, bike rack cameras, and Wildcat Pause Day. Rec pickleball courts and more sand volleyball courts are next.
Both Epard and Jones joined SGA via the Emerging Leaders Program and handle logistics without biasing votes. As generational Wildcats, they chose K-State for affordability and community.
