Check out events happening around campus in this week’s episode of the KS Now podcast and video.

Frybread and Fundraising

Stop by the Morris Family Multicultural Student Center Kitchen on Wednesday, March 11, from 5:30–8 p.m. for Frybread and Fundraising, a delicious way to support NASB and AISES. Build your own frybread creation—a savory taco or a sugary dessert—while connecting with fellow students and celebrating community. With a suggested $5 donation and frybread served until supplies last, it’s a great chance to enjoy amazing food while supporting two student organizations doing important work on campus.

Record Recraft

Do you like records? Do you like recrafting? Well Record Recraft is the event for you. Come to the K-State Student Union Courtyard on Wednesday, March 11, from 6–8 p.m for this hands-on event. Repaint old vinyl records while listening to great music in a relaxed, creative environment. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just looking to try something new, all materials are provided, so come hang out, make something unique, and turn classic records into colorful works of art.

Spring Break 101

Are you ready for spring break? If you answered “no”, you should pull up to Spring Break 101 on Friday, March 13, from 12–2 p.m. at the K-State Student Union. If you answered “yes”, you should still pull up because you never know. This helpful event offers spring break starter kits tailored to your plans – whether you’re heading to the beach, the mountains, or going hamster hunting. Stop by to pick up essentials like sunscreen, sunglasses, gloves, or hats and learn the basics you need to make the most of your break.
