Kansas State Women’s Basketball moved up three spots from 13 to 10 in the AP Poll. K-State opened the season with two home victories, dominating their first opponent, Green Bay, and then a solid second win against Belmont.

K-State has started off hot, outscoring its first two opponents 174-101. Transfers Kennedy Taylor and Temira Poindexter have shined bright in the Wildcat’s system. Head coach Jeff Mittie had some insight into the transfers after the Belmont game.

“She [Poindexter] seems just so effortless at times out there, right? And very instinctual and smart. She is picking up things that we're wanting her to pick up,” Mittie said. “She [Taylor] she is strong down low, and when she has an advantage down there, she does a pretty good job of using it.”

Big 12 Rankings Rundown
