K-State legend Collin Klein returned to Manhattan on Friday, officially introduced at Morgan Family Arena as the Wildcats’ new head football coach.

Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman, 58, is expected to announce his retirement after seven seasons in Manhattan, ending a tenure that produced a 54-37 record, six bowl trips, and a Big 12 title.

Kansas State fell 43–20 to No. 13 Texas Tech after a four-turnover night in Manhattan. Avery Johnson ran for two touchdowns, but the Wildcats couldn’t overcome Behren Morton’s return and a dominant Red Raider defense.
