Rules and Guidelines for Underwriting

  1. Every person taking this for or not for credit must spend time weekly for underwriting.
  2. Every person must update the underwriting director via email weekly on what is going on with there clients. This is due by every Friday afternoon by 5:00 p.m.
  3. Each person must attend weekly meetings every Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in Kedzie 004. If you cannot attend, you are responsible for letting the underwriting director know.
  4. Each person must dress appropriately while meeting with clients. This means they must wear nice pants (no cargos) and a dress shirt. At times, you may be advised to wear a tie. Ladies must dress appropriate as well. Remember, you represent our station and since this is the business side of it, we must look professional for them to take us serious.
  5. Each person should learn everything about our station and what we have to offer. This will make selling us that much easier. You also must know about our packages and exactly what we are selling to our potential clients.
  6. Each person must write a one page paper at the end of the semester summarizing what they did and how they learned from it.
  7. Do not under any circumstance ever bad mouth the station no matter what. This is your station as well. If you have problems, address them and we will all try to work them out.
  8. Have fun with this! This is a great opportunity and will look great on your resume. This is also a chance to make the station as well as yourself some money.
