The Wildcat 91.9 is proud to announce, that the station will be carrying the 2012 mens basketball big 12 championship in Kansas City. The first game the station will carry is the quarterfinal match up between Kansas State and Baylor at 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning. If the Cats win, the station will also carry all ensuing K-State games.
KSDB will broadcast the game live, both through the airwaves and online at wildcat919.com, in addition to twitter updates at @919sports.KSDB sports reporter Brandon Tadtman will be providing play by play coverage, while Eddie Grier handles color commentator duties. Tadtman and Grier are senior members of the Wildcat 91.9 sports staff with a combined 7 years of broadcasting experience between the two of them.
K-State finished the regular season 21-9, and 10-8 in big 12 play capping off the season with back to back victories on the road at Texas A&M and a 77-58 thumping of Oklahoma State on senior day in Bramlage. K-State is 1-1 on the year against the 11/12 ranked Baylor Bears. Inclduding a 75-73 heartbreaker in Bramlage on January 10, and a hard fought 57-56 victory in Waco on February 18.
