Manhattan Music Coalition’s 7th annual Aggiefest is just around the corner! This upcoming Friday September 28 and Saturday September 29 you will hear live music coming from every corner of Aggieville.
With more than 85 bands prepared to share their music throughout the ‘ville, be ready to hear their tunes flooding from Auntie Mae’s Parlor, Beach Museum of Art, Dusty Bookshelf, KatHouse Lounge, Mojo’s Beach Bar, O’Malley’s, Pat’s Bue Rib’n, and Triangle Park. Each participating bar has their own entrance fee and age limit decided and can be found online through the Aggiefest 2012 Facebook page.
All 85 plus bands offer a variety of multi-genre music and will be playing from 6pm until close Friday night and 4pm until close Saturday night. You can find more information including the full schedule of where each band plays online at http://www.aggieville.org/events/event.aspx?id=203.
Along with Aggiefest, The Manhattan Music Coalition is presenting the 2nd annual Visual Arts Festival this weekend as well. Aggieville will feature an ‘Art Walk’ in several of the shops and pubs down the ‘ville. Art pieces from local and regional artists will be featured and participants will even have the opportunity to meet the artists and purchase the artwork.

The Wildcat 91.9 will be out at Aggiefest on Saturday from 1-4. DJ Roo will do The Garage live from Aggieville as an Aggiefest special.
